Cambria.

Sirocco Starts Here

Cambria has been at the core of all four Maranite nations since the beginnings of the Maran District in 2002. Beginning life as the town of Whangae, seat of the Maran District, it has evolved through the years to become one of Sirocco's most important provinces, not to mention being the capital province twice.

Located in the subtropical Bay of Islands in Northland, New Zealand, Cambria is a long, expansive province that takes in beaches, forests, islands, and modern urban areas - and that's just by following the A1 road. There's never time to be bored in Cambria - one day you can be fishing in Port Ackland, the next relaxing in the Alston Domain near Belmont, the next hiking through the Tent Pegs National Forest. Yes, Cambria truly is the crown jewel of Sirocco.

And yet it's not just natural splendour that makes Cambria incomparable to anywhere else - it's the history. This is where the Maran District flourished, where the Kingdom of the Peebles was devised, where Andersonia was managed, and where Sirocco came to life. In fact, when you look at the timeline of Siroccan history, nearly everything from 2002 to 2013 happened here. Even now, more than a year since it was last the capital province, it retains its prime position in Sirocco. Not that it hasn't worked for it, of course.
