Press

Sirocco has a long and proud history of newspapers, the first of which appeared around 2003. Today the main newspaper of record is the Sirocco Times, which reports on items of note from across the micronational community, with a particular focus on Sirocco. Its archives date back to early in the Andersonian period, and chronicle the entire development of the Siroccan nation to the modern day.

Radio

Experimental radio broadcasting was first attempted sometime around 2003, and continued in basic forms for several years afterwards. With the creation of the Siroccan Broadcasting Corporation in 2010, one of the main goals was to begin a fully-fledged radio service. Online attempts proved unsuccessful until 5 July 2013 (21 Julin 67), when SBC National Radio was finally launched, although not without fault. Today the station predominantly broadcasts music from the 1940s to the 1980s, with occasional music from outside these decades, as well as spoken word content.

Television broadcasting began with the creation of the Andersonian Broadcasting Corporation in 2009. This was succeeded by the Siroccan Broadcasting Corporation in October 2010, which began making videos shortly thereafter. Transmissions began on 21 March 2011 (6 Prime 65), and soon after the SBC began airing its hit television series Micro High. Today SBC-TV is the most highly-regarded television channel in the micronational community, with a commitment to quality programming.
